Located within Mesa Verde National
Park, the 2.2 mile (round trip) Point Lookout Trail switchbacks up the
back side of Point Lookout and travels along the top of the mesa. Point
Lookout Trail offers views of Montezuma Valley, Mancos Valley and the
surrounding countryside.
Mesa Verde National Park Headquarters is about a 1 hour drive east of
Cortez Colorado along Highway 160, and about a 1.5 hour drive west from
Durango Colorado along Highway 160.
