Ruple Point Trail

Located within Dinosaur National
Monument, the 4.0 mile (each way) Ruple Point Trail is rated Moderate to
Difficult and travels along rolling terrain to a view of Split Mountain
Canyon. Ruple Point Trail offers on shade except at the very end.
Ruple Point Trail begins at the Island Park Overlook on the Harper Corner
Auto Tour road, 27 miles north of the Canyon Area Visitor Center.
To reach Dinosaur National Monument's Canyon Area Visitor Center from
Dinosaur Colorado travel east along Highway 40 for 2.0 miles to Harpers
Corner Road. Turn left (north) onto Harpers Corner Road and take the first
right into the parking lot. |
