Hope Pass Trail, Lake County Colorado Hiking Trails

Located in the Twin Lakes Area of the Leadville Ranger District, the 5.0 mile Hope Pass Trail is shared with Big Willis Gulch Trail, 2 miles west of Twin Lakes Village. Hope Pass is also the Colorado Trail that passes over to Clear Creek Road.

The "crux" of the Leadville Trail 100 foot race, Hope Pass Trail is a popular trail run. There is an elevation gain of about 3,200' traveling up to an elevation of 12,500'.

Twin Lakes are located about 20 miles south of Leadville along Highway 82.
