Black Cloud Trail, Lake County Colorado Hiking Trails

Located in the Twin Lakes Area of the Leadville Ranger District, the 5.5 mile Black Cloud Trail is rated moderate/strenuous and has an elevation gain of 4,713'.

Black Cloud Trail is an alternative route to the more heavily used Mount Elbert North Trail, & South Mt Elbert Trail for climbing Colorado's highest peak.

Twin Lakes are located about 20 miles south of Leadville along Highway 82.
