Located within Curecanti
National Recreation Area, the 4.0 mile (round trip) Dillon Pinnacles
Trail is available for horseback riding on the lower section. Pack animals
are also allowed along this section of Dillon Pinnacles Trail.
Dillon Pinnacles Trail requires a 600 ft ascent and is rated
Moderate/Strenuous. Offering views of Blue Mesa Reservoir, San Juan
Mountain peaks and the eroded volcanic Dillon Pinnacles, this trail also
offers possible glimpses of bighorn sheep.
