Arapaho
and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland
Located within the Boulder Ranger District of Arapaho and Roosevelt
National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland, Arapaho Glacier Trail is
accessed at the west end of Rainbow Lakes Campground. Arapaho Glacier
Trail (#905) travels northward entering the Indian Peaks Wilderness and
climbs through the woods for about 2 miles, then onto an open tundra which
offers views of Silver Lake, Island Lake, Goose Lake & Triple Lake all
part of the City of Boulder Watershed. |

| The highest point of Arapaho
Glacier Trail is reached about 6 miles from the trailhead and offers
an overlook of the Arapaho Glacier, the South Arapaho (13,397') and
North Arapaho (13,502'). |
