Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 4.8 mile Park Creek Trail climbs out of South Fork for 0.5 mile and
emerges into the open meadows along Park Creek. The trail continues in a
large park for about 2 miles, then into a series of smaller parks broken
by short stretches of aspen. At about 4.5 miles from South Fork Trail,
Nichols Creek Trail is reached. |

To reach Park Creek Trail from Meeker
Colorado, travel east along CO 13 for 1 mile and turn east onto CR 8.
Continue along CR 8 for 18 miles and turn south onto CR 10. Travel for 2
miles along CR 10, jog north for 0.25 mile, then east for 10 miles to
South Fork Campground and the trailhead. Travel along South Fork Trail for
7 miles up South Fork Canyon to the Park Creek Trail junction.
