North Colony Trail #1340, Custer County Colorado Hiking Trails

Horn Creek Trailhead may be used to access North Colony Trail by traveling south along Rainbow Trail for 3.6 miles. South Colony Road may also be used. Travel 4.5 miles south of Westcliffe Colorado along Highway 69 to Colfax Lane (CR 119) and turn left. Continue along CR 119 to it's end and turn right onto South Colony Road.

Parking is located about 1 mile away on the right. The road beyond this point requires high clearance 4WD. Rainbow Trail crosses the road about 2 miles up. Follow Rainbow Trail north for 2 miles to North Colony Trail.
