Available to Hikers & Horseback riders, the 3 mile Horn Peak Trail
follows the drainage until it reaches a reroute then travels up the ridge to the
top of Horn Peak. Horses & mules are not allowed on the trail after it
begins the reroute. Horn Peak Trail rated Difficult.
To reach Horn Peak Trail from Westcliffe Colorado, travel south along Highway
69 to Schoolfield Lane (CR 140) and turn right.

| Follow CR 140 to Macey Lane (CR
129), turn left, travel to Horn Road (CR 130) and turn right. Continue along CR
130 to it's end at Horn Creek Trailhead. Follow Rainbow Trail north and turn
left onto Horn Peak Trail. |
