Available to Hikers & Horseback riders, the 5.1 mile Comanche Trail
begins at an elevation of 9,100', ends at an elevation of 11,720', provides
access to Comanche Lake and the Phantom Terrace and is rated Moderate.
To access Comanche Trail travel south along Highway 69 from Westcliffe
Colorado to CR 140 (Schoolfield Lane) and turn right. Follow CR 140 to the
Comanche/Venable Trailhead.
