Available to both Hikers & Horseback riders, the 4.0 mile Pass Creek
Trail begins near some old mine trailings and travels southwest towards a small
ridge before dropping down to Pass Creek. Following the creek past several
beaver ponds, Pass Creek Trail becomes steeper as you begin climbing toward Pass
Creek Lake.

Several good campsites are available well away from the lakeshore
& wetlands area.
Motorcyclists must stay on the designated trail.
To reach Pass Creek Trail, travel 2 miles west of Poncha Springs along
Highway 50 to CR 210 and turn left. A Forest Service sign will indicate access
to Little Cochetopa Creek & Pass Creek. Continue along CR 210 for about 1
mile to CR 212 and turn right. Continue along CR 212 for 3 miles to the
trailhead.
