Available for Hiking & Horseback riding, the 7.0 mile Little Browns Creek
Trail follows a small creek and is steep in some locations. To reach Little
Browns Creek Trail from Highway 285, midway between Poncha Springs & Buena
Vista Colorado, travel along CR 270 west to 1.5 miles to a 4-way intersection
and travel west (CR 272). Continue along CR 272 for about 2 miles to the beginning
of National Forest lands.

At the 2 mile point watch for an intersection. At the
intersection CR 272 turns left and travels south for 1.5 miles to Browns Creek
Trail. Follow Browns Creek Trail for 1.5 miles to the intersection with the
Colorado Trail, north for 0.5 miles to Little Browns Creek Trail.
