Pike & San Isabel National Forest, Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands, National Forest in Colorado
Located within Leadville Ranger District, 2 primitive camping areas and several dispersed camping areas are
available along Clear Creek Road. The primitive camping area just west
of the Clear Creek Reservoir is operated by the Colorado Division of
Wildlife. On the south side of Windfield, there is a camping area with
toilets.
Dispersed camping is permitted along Clear Creek Road, however
sites must be located at least 100 feet from the creek.
