Blue Lake via Mitchell Lake Trail

Located within the Boulder Ranger District of Arapaho
and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland, Blue Lake
via Mitchell Lake Trail is rated more difficult and receives extremely
heavy use.
Elevations along Blue Lake via Mitchell Lake Trail (#912) include
10,500' at the Mitchell Lake Trailhead, 10,700' at Mitchell Lake and
11,300' at Blue Lake. |

| To reach Blue Lake follow Mitchell
Lake Trail as it enters the Indian Peaks Wilderness on it's way to
Mitchell Lake (0.5 mile). After following along the lake Mitchell Lake
Trail crosses a new bridge over the inlet. |
