Overlook Trail

Located within the Vogel Canyon Picnic Area of Comanche
National Grasslands, the 1.0 mile (round trip) Overlook Trail begins at
the parking lot and is rated easy.

| To reach Vogel Canyon Picnic Area
From La Junta Colorado, travel south along 109 for 13 miles and turn
right (west) onto CR 802 and continue for 1.5 miles. Turn south (left)
onto FR 505A for 1.5 miles to Vogel Canyon parking lot.
From Springfield Colorado, travel west along Highway 160 for 48 mils
and turn north (right) onto Highway 109 and continue for 43 miles. Turn
left (west) onto CR 802 and travel 1.5 miles to FR 505A. Turn left (south)
along FR 505A and continue 1.5 miles to Vogel Canyon parking lot. |
