Benton MacKaye Trail Association
The BMTA maintains a trail from Springer Mt., GA to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as a low-use wilderness alternative to the Appalachian Trail. We welcome hikers and maintainers to visit the website for further information.

Piedmont Appalachian Trail Hikers (PATH)
Through regular work trips, PATH maintains about 58 miles of the Appalachian Trail in southwest Virginia. The bulk of our membership comes from central North Carolina, but we have members stretched across the United States.
