NorthEast
Off Road Association
NORA, formerly known as the Northeast Import
Off-Road Association, NIORA a close-knit community of Import driving
off-road enthusiasts. In late 2008, it was decided to remove the
Import requirement from vehicle acceptance and open the club to all
4WD and Off-Road Enthusiasts. NORA holds two large off-road oriented
events per year in the Spring and in the Fall. At these events there
are raffles, prizes and a competition designed for all levels of rig
and driver. Also we hold two smaller off-road events per year in the
Summer and in the Winter. These smaller events help everyone get
acquainted, have fun and improve trail skills. All of our events are
designed to be fun and interesting for all levels of rig and driver,
from a bone-stock Cherokee with a novice driver to a full tube
chassis rock crawling buggy with a very experienced driver. Our
regional nature dictates that our events be held within the region
of the Northeast U.S.--typically within New York, Pennsylvania, New
Jersey or Maryland, but also occasionally in Maine, Massachusetts
and elsewhere.
PoorBoyz
Jeep Club
PoorBoyz Jeep Club is based out of Mays Landing,
New Jersey.
The PoorBoyz was created by a group of friends who often got
together to venture out in the woods to do a little four wheelin'.
Eventually, Co-founder, Shannon Martin thought it would be a great
idea to get more organized and form a club called "PoorBoyz
Jeep Club".
Since Shannon's wonderful idea, many people have joined the PoorBoyz
and they're still coming! Our members are not just members, we are a
family, committed to enjoying the great outdoors and promoting
responsible land use through 4x4 recreation. As we expand we hope to
not lose our original core: a tight knit group of friends who are
caring & trustworthy, and always willing to give a helping hand.
