The Mid-Illini Jeepers Club (MIJC) is a local Jeep enthusiasts club.
Most of our members live and work in the Peoria, Illinois area, although
we have members who live outside the tri-county area, including Iowa, and
Wisconsin. We are a ‘Jeeps Only’ club which promotes family-oriented
four-wheeling. Each MIJC member is committed to promoting the safe
and responsible use of off-road vehicles.
Mid-Illinois Jeep Enthusiasts
Established in 2002, The Mid-Illinois Jeep Enthusiasts, are a group
of people brought together by one common thing. The love of Jeeps!
There are few other vehicles with as much of a following, and as
much history as our beloved Jeep. From It's Heroic roots in WWII, to the
present day, Jeeps of all shapes and sizes have been loved by the people
that have owned
and driven them.
Since Jeep is so full of history, a few of us loyal Jeep owners
from the
Jacksonville/Springfield Illinois area decided to get together and form an
informal "club". We wanted to have a way to come together and share
our Jeep stories, and tech info, and maybe even sell a part or two.
We also wanted a way we could gather for outings, and even as a way to
meet other Jeepers.
Over the past few years, the Club has grown to a point that we have
decided to become a little more organized, with "officers", affiliations
with other clubs, and organizations and even this website.
In 2005, we became members of the Illinois Four Wheel Drive Association,
and although we are not yet financially able to become members, we also
support "Tread Lightly", and what they believe in. We are open to ALL
models of Jeep vehicles, from "street" to "trail rigs", and from "show" to
"rust buckets" From "2WD" to "4WD", and everything "Jeep" in between. Some
of our outings include: camping, cookouts, car shows/cruises, parades, and
meet and greets. We also have been on outings to the Drive-In theater, and
on fall color drives. We have had several off-road outings, and even
an informational "off-roading101" class (put on by the folks at RORP). We
also pride ourselves in doing events such as our toy drives for
"Toys for Tots", and our food drive for the local food pantry. If
our club sounds like something that you'd like to be a part of, Please
Contact us, and we'll get you the information ...Jeep On!...Scott

Formed in March of 1997, the Alliance is one of the largest 4-wheel drive
clubs in Illinois. Soon the organization hopes to claim to be not only the
largest, but also the most elite, Jeep-exclusive, club in North America.
Our main goal is to promote safe, fun and legal four wheeling in Illinois
and surrounding areas. In doing so, this will provide our members with
trail riding opportunities, socializing, parts location, technical help,
and discounts on parts and services.
