Stony Fork Campground

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests

Stony Fork Campground is located in a natural forest setting at the foot of Big Walker Mountain. There are 53 camping units with picnic tables, fireplaces, lantern posts, parking spurs, central water hydrants, restrooms with warm showers and flush toilets, pay phone, trailer waste disposal station, and central trash containers.

Directions:

From Wytheville follow I-77 north to Exit 47. Turn left onto Rt. 717. Follow 4 miles to Stony Fork Campground.
