Located within the Pisgah National Forest, Kuykendall
Group Camp is available for groups of up to 100 campers.
Services and Amenities available at Kuykendall Group Camp
include fishing, fire rings, lantern post, picnic tables, vault
toilet, and water pump.
Kuykendall Group Camp is a pack it in - pack it out
facility and requires a stream crossings to reach. A high
profile and/or 4X4 vehicle is recommended to cross due to the
possibility of high water.
Reservations are required and must be made at least 4 days in
advance.
To reach Kuykendall Group Camp travel south along NC 280 to
US 64. Follow US 64 west through Brevard to Cathy's Creek Road
(FS 471) and turn right. Continue along Forest Service Road 471
for 1.25 miles to the campground entrance.
