The South Trail starts near the roundhouse and is a self guided nature
trail.
Directions:
Located in the lower foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, northeast of
Stockton, CA, Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park may be reached by
traveling on State Highway 88 East from Jackson to Pine Grove, CA. Turn left
onto Pine Grove Volcano Road and travel about 1.5 miles to the Park. The
first turnoff is to the campground, the second turnoff is the main entrance |
